French Mock Exam 2025 for High Schools and Internation Schools offering
French in the larger Nairobi Region and its neighboring counties. This
initiative aims to provide students with a comprehensive practice experience,
helping them to adequately prepare for their final exams and gain confidence in
their French language skills.

from 2024 Edition:
The 2024
Doyen French Mock Exam was a remarkable success, drawing participation from
different schools within the Nairobi Metropolitan Region. Feedback from
teachers emphasized the exam’s relevance, realistic structure and its strong
alignment with KCSE standards. The accompanying detailed report provided
critical insights that helped both students and teachers better target their
revision efforts.

INFORMATION: DOYEN FRENCH MOCK EXAMINATION 2025 – NAIROBI METROPOLITAN REGION
1.0.
EVENT DETAILS:
1.1.
Structure of the Exam:
- The Mock French Exam will consist of
three papers, mirroring the structure of KCSE French exams:
- Paper 1:
Listening Comprehension, Dictation and Creative Writing
- Paper 2:
Reading Comprehension, Grammar and Functional Writing
- Paper 3:
Oral Examination

Conduct of Exams:
- Dates and Venue:
- Paper 1: Tuesday 17th
June 2025 – Venue: At respective schools
- Paper 2: Thursday 19th June
2025 – Venue: At respective schools
- Paper 3: Saturday 21st June
2025 – Venue: At respective schools. This paper Shall be conducted by
an external examiner.
- Logistical Details:
The French mock exam will be
conducted under strict examination conditions to replicate the actual KCSE
environment. We shall provide all necessary instructions, support materials and
logistical assistance to ensure a seamless and efficient examination process.
- Marking and General Evaluation:
- Exam Papers will be marked according
to KCSE grading standards. Respective teachers shall not be involved in
the marking of the papers. It shall be done by the Doyen Publishers’
Directorate of Examination and Quality Assurance.
- Detailed evaluation criteria will be
provided to ensure transparency and fairness.
- Post-Exam Analysis and Results:
- Results will be compiled and
analyzed to provide insights into student performance.
- Post-exam analysis sessions may be
scheduled to discuss outcomes and areas for improvement.
- Each school shall receive two
reports for the Mock; a general report and a school report.
- Results Release: Friday 18th
July 2025 – Venue: To be communicated
- Awarding:
- Certificates of participation or
achievement, shall be awarded.
- A trophy will be awarded to the
best-performing school.
